Will teaching in China for a year help me in anyway in either the military or getting a job with the CIA?

I have always wanted to serve my country and travel. I know this sounds random but will living and working abroad translate into a job in the military (any branch)? Or any national security agencies (CIA, DIA, NSA, etc.)
