Is there an illness that could simulate the effects of kidney disease in a child?

I am not sure about any illness with natural causes but a number of medications both OTC and prescription could cause what appears to be kidney failure in children that young. These can include Tylenol, Advil, and any other medication that is excreted through the kidneys.
