Could Google and Facebook be CIA/NSA fronts?

No. No help was given by the NSA or CIA. This was a toy before it took real form and shape. It was something they didn't take seriously until it was too late. Now they try to affect legislation that will allow them to watch everything that's going on with the internet. They still have a security worm out watching for keywords so stay safe everyone. Otherwise don't worry so much. The amount of data passed through their servers is too much to effectively sift through right now.
